Responsibilities:
- Capture content through photography and video
- Post-production work including photo (some video) editing with a sense of strong storytelling, color correction (both photo and video assets), etc. using various Adobe Creative Cloud programs
- Maintain organization of our photography and video assets library/DAM system as well as keeping it up-to-date with our latest content
- Work closely with the team leaders for conception, planning, and editing of shoots/projects
- Export, compress and reformat video files
- Manage and oversee social media content
- Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Conceptualize and create ideas for platform-specific, compelling content
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in photography and video production
- Proficient in capturing photography and video assets including lifestyle, destination and brand content
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
- Advanced knowledge and experience with photography, video and audio equipment needed to complete assigned tasks/projects. This includes a solid understanding of basic principles of lighting, angles, composition and lenses
- Expert knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom software
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects software
- Expert in post-production editing including retouching, color correction and color grading
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to clearly direct and connect with talent and team members on shoots
- Self-motivated, natural problem-solver with the ability to plan/balance multiple projects simultaneously, both independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
