Responsibilities

The Intern works at applying academic education to assigned tasks. He/she is provided an opportunity for on-the-job training and given specific tasks to encourage learning the basics of software and web-based programming. The Intern works under the direction of a senior staff member who has the authority to exercise control over the design and production tasks.

The Programmer Intern is responsible for supporting end-users with a variety of software, designing programming/software enhancements and maintaining the software through the execution of upgrades, as they occur. He/she works to assure that duties are completed with attention to quality, accuracy, and service within time frames and budgets established.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with Sharepoint development is preferred
  • Experience with ASP.NET; VB.Net; .Net 1.1 +2.0; HTML, and SQL Server framework
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
